DSPA™ is a new standard in digital signal processing integration, combining the power of 'drag-and-drop' digital processing with a modular 70v power amplifier system for commercial audio applications. The DSP structure is based around an 8x8 platform, with input and output modules configured into groups of 4, allowing for cost effective and flexible designs. The DSPA design software uses an intuitive freeform format, allowing audio system design via a Windows-based PC.
For customers new to DSP drag'n drop we offer a design service most common sound system application, shipped ready to go 'out of the box' with no further programming needed, other than minor adjustments. Alternatively, the contractor may completely reprogram the system from scratch, or request a custom system program from the factory, supplied with custom faceplates to match the application requirements.
The front panel offers up to 8 fully programmable, scalable, variable controls that may be assigned to any function within a design, with optional programmable field remote controls (RAC). For designs not requiring all 8 knobs to be in place, a suitable custom faceplate will cover the unused holes, allowing for a completely custom design of each system with the flexibility of front panel user-defined controls.
System designs are uploaded to DSPA from a computer once the design is complete. RS-232 control is available for external interface (AMX™, Crestron™, etc.). The amplifier chassis allows for either 2 or 4 channels of 80w 70.7 Volt or 8 Ohm. Additionally, up to 4 line level outputs from the DSP board are available on the rear apron for connection to amplification for other uses within a system design. As an option, a any DSPA may be supplied with no amplifiers at all (called a DSPA Zero) for use with systems requiring greater power levels.
