The ECS is a full blown networkable Drag & Drop DSP processor with the additional benefit of up to 16 channels of Acoustic Echo Cancellation. Featuring 24 inputs or outputs selectable in blocks of 4 the unit can be configured to suit almost any application. With 6 slots that can be populated with either an input block or output block, it can be configured from a 4 in - 4 out to a 20 in - 4 out or any other combination. As it is fully networkable, 48 channels of simultaneous audio can also be sent between up to 32 boxes either over CAT-5 or fiber. Using fiber, a distance between units of 6 miles can be achieved.

Contrary to other units, each input is simply a user selectable line or mic level input and the AEC component lives inside the box making the system suitable for not only echo cancellation, but for any other Drag & Drop DSP application desired - Performance venues, Paging Applications, Conference Facilities, etc. etc. Since it is fully configurable, the user can decide how many inputs, how many outputs, how many channels of AEC are needed, and weather a Telephone Card is needed or not.

The ECS also features all of the benefits of the rest of the Penton/ATEIS DSP line including low cost remote controls, internal message storage, stacking paging along with a full blown DSP component library. An advanced scheduler allows for message activation, day parting, and other functions.

A front panel high resolution TFT LCD display can also be programmed for easy configuration and parameter adjustments.

Available accessories include the low cost RAC analogue remote controls, the fully programmable URC digital remote panel, the PPM paging microphone, and the PPM-Touch - IP based programmable touch screen microphone.
