The UAP88 is a state-of-the-art 8-input, 8-output digital audio processor based around the Analog Devices SHARC chip set for maximum system performance. Inputs are mic or line level, with phantom power selectable individually.
The free-form 'drag-and-drop' software offers all the power you need to create virtually any design. All standard DSP components are at your disposal - mixers, auto-mixers, compressors, limiters, parametric and graphic equalizers, delays of up to 2000ms, feedback suppressors, crossovers, filters, and much more. All in one of easiest-to-use software packages on the market today. We've worked hard to make the software powerful and flexible for the seasoned user, but not intimidating for those who have not yet discovered the power of drag-and-drop system design.
Built into the software package is a Monitor Window control screen for applications where you wish to use a PC to operate the system, but hide the actual 'wiring' from the end user.
The UAP offers some features not found in any other DSP on the market today. Most notable are the 8 assignable variable controls on the front panel. Each may be assigned to any DSP function in your design, and each is fully scalable. Or use your own 10k pots and program up to 8 field remote controls of your own design. There is also a built-in TTL Logic control featuring 8 inputs and 8 outputs for interfacing with switches, LEDs, and other systems.
For remote control, we offer two systems - the RAC for an inexpensive way to simply select sources and adjust levels, and the URC, a much more sophisticated remote with LCD display and RS-485 control. For paging applications, we offer the PRPM programmable paging microphone for total control of paging systems.
With the software and hardware features of the UAP88 at your disposal, you can't go wrong. Once you've designed a system with our processor, you'll know why the UAP is the easy DSP!
We also offer a pre-programmed version called the UAP88-S. This is simply a UAP88 with a pre-loaded software design for use with our CCS-8 in-ceiling subwoofer when paired with our MCS mini line-array speakers, ready to go out of the box with no additional programming necessary.
